Southern gospel from Richard Miller - also know as Little Richard Miller - backed up by The Dixie Echoes of Pensacola, FL. Miller plays guitar and organ and sings in a beautiful, clear tenor voice. Yes that is right. The curious cover scene is what usually first draws eyes to this hard to find treasure. Vintage and Collectible Records Casey Kasem began broadcasting his iconic radio show, American Top 40, on July 4th, 1970: "Here we go with the Top 40 hits in the nation this week on "American Top 40," the bestselling and most played songs from the Atlantic to the Pacific, from Canada to Mexico. This is Casey Kasem in Hollywood." Now 50 years later in 2020, we can find this show documented on radio transcript record sets. These sets were sent to subscribing radio stations. At each station, the individual programmer would insert ads and station ids at the appropriate intervals. Circa 1966 Wilson Pickett Tour with APO Shows Inc Program

From the biography included in this program, it dates to around 1966, when The Wicked Pickett, as Wilson Pickett was known, had a hit with "Land Of A Thousand Dances". The tour was built on that momentum and included Billy Stewart who also had a current hit in his song "Summertime" for Chess Records. Now, an exciting addition is a very young Sam Moore and David Prater. We all know them as Sam and Dave.
