Hoodwink Records of North Carolina put out a handful of electronic break beats, house and jungle 12 inches back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Some of these are still DJ favorites - perhaps more popular in general in Europe than the US. One of those faves features Lafayette, Louisiana DJ Johnny Cage and his Funk Legit.
Originally released in 2001, a small repressing of 500 was whipped up somewhere in Europe and sold privately in 2019. Record Booth 93 was able to obtain a single sealed copy, directly from Hoodwink Records. Only a few copies of this repressing made it back to US shores and those are very difficult to find up for sale.
